See With Kindness

Let Your Giving Come From the Heart

To truly see someone is to remember we belong to each other. When you give with real intention, both the giving and the receiving matter.

Who We Are

Naina Foundation Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that collects gently used clothing and gets it into the hands of people who need it, here in the U.S. and in India. We also create space for conversations about education and mental wellbeing in the communities we serve, and welcome people of every age to volunteer alongside us.

Founded by Poonam Gunjal, Naina exists on a simple belief: what no longer serves you can still serve someone else. Every donation, every conversation, and every hour volunteered is part of the same circle, one that reminds us we belong to each other, no matter how far apart we may be.

Whether you have clothes to give, time to offer, or simply want to learn more, there’s a place for you here.

Founder Story

Poonam Gunjal is the founder of Naina Foundation Center.

Naina means eyes.
As a little girl, she watched the women in her family fold away clothes with nowhere to go. Even then, she wondered why something so simple, a piece of clothing no longer needed, couldn’t still serve someone else. That question became a dream she carried since childhood: a place built on the belief that what no longer serves one person can still serve another, and that helping one another could be simple, and close to home.
Naina Foundation Center is that dream, built.

Be Part of the Circle

Give in whatever way fits you. Drop off clothes that no longer serve you, give what you can to help move them further, or come volunteer and be part of the packing and sorting yourself. However you show up, you become part of something that moves in both directions, because every act of giving is also an act of receiving.
